1967 Lincoln Continental Convertible For Sale

1967 Lincoln Continental Convertible

This beautiful 1967 Lincoln Continental Convertible has all the options offered by Ford Motor Co. for a Lincoln in 1967. It is also one of the finest Lincoln’s around! The vehicle was recently painted back to its original color of Silver Blue Metallic. The Lincoln was stripped of all its chrome and stainless then was repainted with DuPont Base Coat Clear Coat paint.

The undercarriage is rock solid and has been undercoated to protect it from the elements. The trunk and floor pans are rock solid. The body is as straight as an arrow. The chrome and stainless inside and out is original and is absolutely beautiful. The glass in the car has no chips and is nice and clear.

The engine compartment has been highly detailed with all new decals and a new hood pad. In the trunk you will notice that the upholstery is all new and looks great. The interior of this fine Lincoln is all original and looks absolutely fantastic as the pictures show. The door panels and interior chrome is like new. The dash pad is not faded or cracked and the dash face itself is in fantastic condition.

The engine is a 462ci V8 with a 4bbl carburetor and it runs smooth and quiet like a Lincoln should. This Lincoln runs drives and handles like new. The A/C has been converted to the new 134R and blows ice cold. The exhaust is nice and quiet and the transmission shifts nice and smooth up and down at all the correct shift points. The brakes are good and the car stops straight with no pulling from one side or the other, no noises and stops on a dime. All the windows work from both the drivers’ side master controls and from all the passenger positions in the car. The rear door windows drop 4 to 6 inches when the rear doors are opened and go up properly when the doors are closed.

This Lincoln has all the options, the list is as follows:

  • Power brakes

  • Power Steering

  • Power windows

  • Power door locks

  • Power vent windows

  • 6 way power seat

  • Passenger front seat reclines with power headrest (very rare option)

  • Power top (works flawlessly)

  • Temp control A/C

  • Am/FM Town and Country radio

  • Cruise Control

  • Automatic headlight dimmer

  • Tilt steering wheel

  • Power antenna

The power top works flawlessly and can be operated from both inside the car and outside the car. The outside location is a key slot next to the gas filler door on the drivers side. With the flip of a switch the top unlatches itself from the windshield (no header bow levers to manually release) and retracts into the trunk and a metal flip panel covers the boot area. No canvas boot to install to cover up the retractable top. From the back seat it is a very sleek looking like the cars of today. Quite and engineering marvel for its time and this all works flawlessly. All the passenger compartments have illuminated ash trays and cigar lighters. A amenity that was standard on all Lincoln Continentals.

The four door Lincoln Continental Convertible was the finest engineered automobile for its time. This 1967 Lincoln Continental is one of the finest around. It runs drives and looks like new.  The 1967 Lincoln Continental was the last of the year for the four door convertible. These Continental Convertibles are just now becoming very popular and the demand as well as the price for these cars is rising. This is a great classic luxury automobile and it is being offered for sale with a reasonable reserve price. This is a great investment for either the classic car collector or the first time classic car buyer.  I can and will assist with shipping either domestic or internationally. Please feel free to call at any time.
